ABOUT US
Wisma Bahasa is the oldest bahasa Indonesia course in Yogyakarta, established in 1982. With more than 40 years of experience, Wisma Bahasa provides high-quality language services for occupational, migration, or study purposes. Besides the bahasa Indonesia course, we also offer bahasa Jawa course, cultural studies, and field studies.
We guarantee that every teacher is experienced and competent, and they have received rigorous pre-service training in Wisma Bahasa and regular training sessions to keep them up to date with current issues.
We are not teachers and learners but friends. We do not teach the language but create situations in which learners enjoy communicating in bahasa Indonesia by providing a comfortable and fun learning atmosphere. That is why we are called WISMA BAHASA, the home of language.
We are a home away from home – where you can learn bahasa Indonesia with professionals who are passionate and care about your progress and transformation. Our core philosophy is that learning a language is about more than just being able to speak, it is about being able to experience and integrate into the culture. We believe in teaching through fun and relevant experiences in the classroom and beyond.
